• Paper Milk or Juice Cartons
• Styrofoam Containers/Packing
• Garbage/Compost Food Waste
• Propane Tanks
• Paint Cans
• Colored Glass
• Medical Waste/Syringes
• Flammable Liquids
• Household Cleaners
• Chemicals (Dry or Liquid)
• Wood Items
• Concrete
• Electrical Cords/Batteries
• Garden Hose
• Tires

"What if I have more recycling than will fit in the bin?"

— Have the resident place the extra recycables in a clear plastic bag & place it near the bin.

"Do I need to have the freon removed from my appliance?"

— Only in Chesterfield & Rochester. All other communities set out as is.

"Can I discontinue my services ( Bloomfield & Chesterfield)?"

— No. The only exception is if home is demolished or uninhabitable because of renovations. Resident submits a completed exemption form to us that is approved by City.

"Which residents pay Rizzo directly?"

— Chesterfield & Bloomfield. All other cities are paid by the cities.

"When are their payments due?"

— The first day of the billing period, ex: Jan 1st, Apr 1st, Jul 1st, Sep 1st.

"Which cities do we provide Recycle Bins for?"

— Chesterfield & Bloomfield.

"What city is charged for Recycle Bin & how much?"

— Chesterfield $10.00.

"How often are Residents billed?"

— Quarterly: Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec.

"When does my bill go to my taxes (Bloomfield & Chesterfield)?"

— Every September for balances due by July 1st, added to their winter taxes. Bloomfield tax payments are received by us in October. Chesterfield tax payments are received by us once Chesterfield receives payment (usually January).

"When is Bloomfield eligible for free month credit?"

— Only in June of each year, payments must be received by June 30th to be eligible for following year-Must pay for 11 months.

"Who do you take over the phone credit card payments for?"

— Bloomfield - Free of charge; Chesterfield - $5.00 Charge; Outside - Condo Associations, Royal Oak Businesses - Free of Charge
